Product description
This 9-piece turbocharger tester kit is designed to efficiently detect air leaks and cracks in intercooler tubes and pipes that connect the turbocharger to the intake manifold. The kit includes a pressure gauge that measures between 0-70psi (0-5 bar), allowing you to monitor pressure accurately during testing. The 8 conical adapters range from 35mm to 80mm, ensuring compatibility with various hose sizes, making this kit suitable for a wide range of vehicles and boost pressure systems.
Equipped with a quick-connect regulating valve and a discharge valve for compressed air supply, the kit allows for easy testing by simulating the pressure generated by the turbo (1-1.7 bar). The system is sealed with the correct adapter at the output (intake side) and connected to the regulator at the input (turbo side). The compressed air valve is then activated using an inflation gun, enabling you to detect even the smallest cracks by listening for air escaping or observing a drop in pressure in the circuit.
This versatile kit is compatible with all turbo, G-charger, and exhaust gas compressor systems that feature threaded hose connections. It is packaged in a convenient plastic bag for easy storage and transport.
